ForMe Fashion ("ForMe," "we," "us," or "our") operates the ForMe personal styling platform at formefashion.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform.

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and an encrypted password (or passwordless authentication token).

Profile & Body Data: You may voluntarily provide body measurements (height, weight, chest, waist), style preferences, wardrobe photos, and occasion/budget details to receive personalized styling recommendations.

Wardrobe Photos: If you upload closet item photos, these are stored securely and used solely for virtual try-on image generation and outfit matching.

Usage Data: We automatically collect browser type, device information, IP address, referring URLs, and interaction data (clicks, page views) through standard web technologies.

2. How We Use Your Information

Generate personalized outfit recommendations using AI styling models
Create virtual try-on images using your wardrobe photos
Match you with products from retail partners
Improve our recommendation algorithms and platform features

Affiliate Networks: Click and transaction data is shared with affiliate networks (Skimlinks, Sovrn, Amazon, CJ) when you click product links. This data does not include your body measurements or wardrobe photos.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority.

6. Data Security

All personal data is encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption via Upstash Redis. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. All data transmission uses TLS/HTTPS encryption. We never store payment or credit card information.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Under GDPR (EU/UK) and CCPA (California), you have the right to:

Access: Request a copy of all data we hold about you
Portability: Export your data in a machine-readable format
Correction: Request correction of inaccurate personal data
Deletion: Request permanent deletion of all your data

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all personal data (profile, measurements, wardrobe photos, and preferences) is permanently deleted within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregated analytics data may be retained indefinitely.

9. Children's Privacy

ForMe is not intended for users under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If we learn we have collected such data, we will delete it promptly.

10. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. For EU/UK users, such transfers are governed by Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions as applicable.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates the most recent revision. Continued use of ForMe after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
